Nice to meet you! My name is Alex, I offer services in the PNW as a Photographer, Doula Mentor, Certified Postpartum Doula and + Studying Parent Coach in the Tacoma, Washington areas + Greater Puget Sound and my life is all about respect for the family process, whether I am supporting families as a postpartum doula or documenting them as photographer. I dedicate my life to the empowerment and happiness of families through reproductive rights and helping to instill the confidence in them to demand the life they want. I am all about helping you fall in love with your life - as a mother, parent, family, couple.

I live in East Tacoma where I grew up with my three wonderful babies. I live with ADHD and successfully navigated Postpartum Anxiety Disorder after the birth of my son in 2013, and since then I am passionate about passing on the tools I have found to aid and inspire families through these profound transitions. I am fiercely protective of neurodivergent success in these challenging life transitions, and connect especially well with those who have a mental health diagnosis.

I have been studying birth work extensively for 9 years and completed a Lactation Education course and a Birth Doula course instructed by the pioneer of doula work herself, Penny Simkin. Finally becoming certified in Postpartum Care through Birth Arts International in 2020. I feel deep gratitude for my role as a provider of these services to create and capture beautiful moments for you.

My most current area of specialized studies is perinatal mental health and parent coaching and I am gathering credentials towards my certification in perinatal mental health AND parent coaching to offer clinical support sessions for my clients and hands on in home tools to enhance how they relate with their children . To make support more accessible I do virtual sessions for families so even on a budget or with limiting circumstances you can receive comprehensive support that every family truly deserves
